1. Information We Collect

HydroFast stores the information you enter to run fasting and hydration features:

  • Fasting plans, schedules, and fasting history
  • Hydration entries and water intake history
  • Reminder preferences and schedules
  • App preferences such as language, theme, and settings

HydroFast currently does not require account creation and does not collect account or contact profile data for core app use.

2. How We Use Information

The locally stored data is used to:

  • Provide fasting tracking and schedule support
  • Provide hydration tracking and water intake records
  • Trigger reminders based on your settings
  • Show progress insights and history inside the app
  • Keep your app experience personalized to your preferences

3. Notifications

HydroFast uses local notifications scheduled on your device for fasting and hydration reminders.

HydroFast currently does not use remote push notifications and does not use Expo push tokens.

You can disable notifications from HydroFast settings and/or your device notification settings.

4. Data Storage

HydroFast stores app data primarily on your device for offline functionality and normal app operation.

In the current version, fasting records, hydration logs, reminders, and app preferences are kept on-device.

6. Data Sharing

HydroFast does not sell personal data.

HydroFast does not share user-entered fasting or hydration data with third parties in the current version, except where disclosure is required by law or needed to protect rights, safety, or security.

7. Data Retention

HydroFast stores data on your device until you remove it. This includes hydration logs, fasting records, reminder preferences, and app settings/preferences.

There is no fixed server-side retention period for this locally stored data in the current version because the data remains on your device unless you delete it.

You can remove locally stored data by:

  • Using the in-app "Reset All Data" option
  • Clearing app storage from your device settings
  • Uninstalling the app

8. How to Delete Your Data

You can delete your data in any of these ways:

  • In-app: Open HydroFast -> Settings -> Reset All Data -> Confirm
  • Device-level: Clear app storage from your device settings
  • Remove app: Uninstall HydroFast

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone after confirmation.

9. User Choices and Controls

You can manage your data and preferences at any time:

  • Open HydroFast
  • Go to Settings
  • Tap "Reset All Data"
  • Confirm the action
  • Disable reminders in app settings and/or device settings
  • Adjust app preferences such as fasting plans and hydration reminders
  • Clear app storage from your device settings
  • Uninstall the app to remove locally stored data from the device

10. Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect app data. However, no method of electronic storage is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

11. Children's Privacy

HydroFast is not intended for children under 13 years of age. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

12. International Users

If you use the app from outside your home country, local data handling may still be subject to local laws and device platform behavior in your region.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
